Commerce
The
National Black Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) has named UnitedHealthcare,
a UnitedHealth Group company, as the first-ever health benefit
provider of choice for its nearly 100,000 member businesses.
Harry C. Alford, NBCC president and CEO, said that the group
selected UnitedHealthcare in part due to the Generations of Wellness
program, which offers services specifically tailored to meet
the needs of black-owned businesses and their employees and to
address critical health issues and illness that disproportionately
affect African-American communities. download
