Tom leads product development for UnitedHealthcare^® and is responsible for the growth and advancement of programs and products that extend coverage to uninsured Americans with United Essentials. He is focused on under- and un-insured consumers is critical to support the UnitedHealth Group^® mission - to extend access to affordable, quality care to all Americans.

Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group^® in 2005, Tom was the National Health Management Practice leader for Hewitt Associates, a leading national consultant on human resource and benefits issues for large employees.  He brings innovative, insightful leadership and is one of the industry’s leading health care experts.

Tom holds an MBA from the University of Connecticut and received his undergraduate degree in Economics from Hobart College.
